Well, another weekend with Carissa's grandparents came to an end yesterday. It's always a little sad to have to drive them to the airport and wave the last goodbyes for a few months....
I think Carissa probably has the best grandparents ever...sorry to you other grandparents. They come here so excited to see her and aren't disappointed by anything she does or doesn't do. She really had changed since Christmas....she walks, talks alot more, and has her own personality now. I think it was fun for them to see the emerging person in this little girl. What fun it is to see her kiss and hug them....and how fun it is to watch them as she does it.
We have a whirlwind of visiting over the next 6 months or so. We will get to be home for Uncle Brian's graduation in May and then have him come out and visit us in May. We will get to see Grandma and Grandpa for July 4th and then fly back to Illinois again in August. We really love seeing family and wish we were closer.....God works in mysterious ways to have us appreciate others from our love for them--near or far.
